One Horn to Rule Them All: A Purple Unicorn Anthology is a wonderful collection of shorts from well-known authors like Todd McCaffrey, Jody Lynn Nye, and Peter S. Beagle, as well as other wonderful new voices - self included! Equally exciting, proceeds help with scholarships for a business seminar for writers. It's a win-win.
Why Would Anyone Enchant That? is a lovely compilation of stories with strangely enchanted objects by the editors over at Unsettling Wonder. They're unsurprisingly one of my favorite magazines as they examine, embrace, and publish stories that either explore old folklore and fairy tales or build new ones. Seriously, head on over there. They're good people.
